Hi I’m Loida Labarrete- Riego. I took up Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education at National Teachers College from June 2008 to March 2009. But later on I realized that I was more eager to teach little children. So I shifted the course and graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Kindergarten Education at Harris Memorial College from June 1989 to March 1995.
I was a college scholar and received a Leadership award when I graduated.
I also went to De la Salle University and took up 21 units in Master of Arts in Educational Management. I also granted scholarship. I am good in Arts, Declamation, and acting. Before coming to Beijing Shuren-Ribet School I had taught for almost 14 years in both public and private schools in the Philippines and 1 year in Shandong, Jinan China. I also taught computer lessons to children ages 5 and up. For me, teaching is a great challenge and dedication. I have passion for teaching children especially in the Foundation Stage. I like teaching because I want to help the children develop their knowledge, creativity and imagination. I want my students feel happy and confident in my class so that they will become more independent and assertive individuals as they grow. As of now, I am enjoying my 9 years of stay in Shuren because the staffs are supportive and the students are sweet and diligent.
